this game started as a proposal for a philosophy project. i knew that i wanted it to be multi-media in some sense of the word (at the time, i was particularly looking at interactive fiction/visual novels, especially those with video/music components, but i was also considering short film formats), but at the time, i'd only ever told my stories through the traditional written form of creative writing. i put the project aside, telling myself that i would soon find one better suited to the mediums i'd worked with. (i also ended up making a song for it, which you can find on soundcloud under the same title and the username "rinsdollbones" if you're interested lmfao)

and now it's here! in the body of interactive fiction, as it always was meant to be :) this is my first time EVER coding a project like this, so i really have no idea what the quality is like - but i know that i have so much room for improvement, and i know this isn't going to be the last time i pursue a project like this. it is quite short, but depending on circumstances, i may expand it into something larger as i have so, SO many directions i want to take this that i didn't have the time/space to pursue for this version. that said, this current iteration is 5-10 minutes long, approximately 2k words, and has multiple routes as well as a good and bad ending.
